Meditation is simply silencing your mind for a period of time. There are numerous health benefits to meditation. It can improve metabolism, blood pressure, brain activity, and other bodily functions. It can alleviate stress and pain, promote sleep, and enhance focus and concentration. You can take advantage of the benefits of meditation in just a few minutes a day. 75
How to meditate? Sit and close your eyes. Focus on your breath take slow deep breaths. In through nose and out through mouth. Count to three hold it and exhale and count to three. Think about nothing. Quiet your mind. Enjoy the quiet, the moment and just be. 77
